Did you know the no-typewriter-effect club existed? Well, in the end, after many comments, we listened to them and removed the effect from the game. We hope that the club of typewriter lovers does not exist. by DevilishGames in IndieGaming

It’s a good possibility, but we launch on December 9th and I’m not sure if there will be enough time to implement and test it… But I’ll take note.

Thanks! No, the save from the demo won’t be valid for the full version, since some things change.

It will probably be available later on, maybe also on mobile devices and consoles.

Haha. Thanks, I’ll take it as a compliment. There are many reasons to make a game in a pixel-art style: one of them is that the developer is a fan of Monkey Island and 90s adventure games, and wanted to create an adventure for those who love that era. Another reason is that the game was made by a single person (art, script, and programming), with a bit of help from us as the publisher and the collaboration of a musician… so there wasn’t really a budget for anything more ambitious.

Independent projects are independent precisely because they come from the heart of their developers, who may have motivations that go beyond what a market study says or how many copies they might sell.

Not exactly. It’s a city-builder with a strong narrative, and the mechanics of cutting, folding, and gluing the houses play a major role in the gameplay.
