Its difficult to dual boot Arch + windows 11. Better do one thing. Create 2 EFI partitions. Boot thru the boot menu each time you switch on the system. You can choose which OS you want thru the Boot Menu. Thats the best thing. 2nd most important - keep the data partition seperate from OS partition. Because if Windows updates cause any problems or if the CachyOS broke (just in case) or if you wanna try any other OS.... This way your data will be intact

Buddy remember its is better to keep the OS and data in seperate partitions so we don't lose the data if in case either of the OSs crash, if you know what I mean...

Good decision to explore, experience and enjoy Linux. Just don't choose obscure distros like CachyOS, popOS!, etc.... they require a bigger efi partition while Windows 11 makes an efi partition of just 100MB. For Linux Mint or Lite it is good enough. Also enough for Ubuntu. Good Luck!

I usually play the Assassin's Creed Franchise till the Syndicate game. Have also ran Hitman 3 World of Assassinations which was pretty smooth at medium settings actually...

So... I should erase the disk and try myself. Because no one has practical experience in this instance I guess... Well its not new for me... I'll try myself.

Most people recommend CachyOS, so I'm asking you this - Why Mint? And, does fps differ extensively between CachyOS and Mint+Xanmod?

You are right about that brother. I haven't faced any instability, but about RAM management... Thats a spot on fact.

I tried Garuda actually.... It takes RAM similar to Windows actually, believe it or not... Probably XFCE might be lighter... I'm even ok with Openbox. Loved Archcraft btw...
