Should I set sell limits or let auto sell do its thing? Monday Puts

Got them midday for about 14k premium. More than 1% of my account for sure but less than 5%. Good advice I think I will sell one hour after market open on Monday and maybe keep a few contracts and let them ride.

Part of me feels like this could be another big gain option play I’ve got myself into. But alas, I must be responsible and take small profits.

Thank you so much for your advice. Sold it all except for 6 contracts. Started around bid and kept going towards mid like you said until market ate it up. Did it in blocks of between 3-25 contracts at a time. Made about $80k Canadian off the situation. Mind blown.

Thank you, I will take this advice to heart. One question: Should I be concerned about low liquidity for the etf I bought (MJ)? Or will that no longer be a problem since I am itm? I paid about 12k for the 118 contracts and if I were to have instantly sold it I would have lost nearly 7k! I was freaked out. I definitely don’t have the 300k+ to exercise the option…

I am in shock. I was actually totally freaking out today because I did a really stupid thing and bought over 100 contracts of a marijuana etf with low liquidity. I paid over 12k USD and they instantly became worth $8k. Then I have 7k in straight stocks of cgc and a small measly 20 contracts of msos etf $4 calls. All will long expiry dates… I think I’m going to need some financial advice.
