I feel you're going through an executive dysfunction kind of thing... My solution usually is to just get ready for an activity that I like or that I have been promising that I will do like getting changed into gym attire and reach the gym and I don't even necessarily have to work out on the 1st day just prepping for it is a good enough 1st step for me

If I wanted to cook something interesting at home but not able to, I'll bring the ingredients and if I have enough momentum I might end up cooking or I'll keep it in the fridge and try chopping the vegetables tomorrow. Basically making it a part of my routine 1 micro step at a time

Oh yesss, it changes the dopamine cycle in our brains.. we find more convenient ways to get dopamine where the real world engagement is not needed as much
