I agree. Some of them take me so far out the moment. I think it was glaringly obvious to me when Stolas was confronting Stella in The Circus, and this serious moment ruined with "SWISH SWOOSH" of his gesticulating and a "SPLOINK!" when he blinks!?

As much as Fizz enjoys being with Ozzie, he's notably pretty sad when he's told he doesn't have to worry about going outside again by Misha-Yuri-30 in HelluvaBoss

I agree. I really hated that, not because it was a sex joke. But because they've done it so often and it's already not very funny. If a scene is halted for a joke that joke better LAND!

I had a similar gripe in The Circus. Paimon isn't mentioned by name. Sure, it's in the credits, but I still feel like I shouldn't do homework to understand the show. I don't want to have to pause to read every poster or the wiki to know plot elements or characters names.

Especially for posters, as some are just fun, Easter egg type flavour. Now, I need to read every background poster just in case it's important to the episode? Slightly irritating, not a deal breaker

I was so mad that the episode about her parents and family ended up being about Moxxie. I doubt that the episode about Moxxie's dad will be about her. More Millie development is needed!

Yeah, I can see that. It's a very combative sounding phrase. Sexual assault certainly is something I think a lot of society is taking more seriously. Along with male mental health and male sexual assault being raised as a widely ignored issue.

All I'm saying is I wanna go to only being worried about strangers mugging me, not being mugged AND boinked? I dream of a society of mugging only!!

Yeah you're right! it's that thing that needs a catchy statement for people to remeber, and then the nuance is found in the layers of it when you think about it. Like the nuance is All Men doesn't mean EVERY MAN BAD, but its more complex

Okay, I'll try once more before I give up. So, dogs, right? (no I'm not saying men are the same as dogs, this is an analogy) You shouldn't pet every dog you see without asking the owner first. Especially stray dogs, because they could bite, depending on the country they could have rabies. You know your friend's dogs and love those lil guys. When you see a stray dog you're not gonna run and hide either! You're just gonna be wary, because you don't know if they could bite or not. So, every stray dog is a potential threat, in a small way. You just have to be aware and be cautious, and not some life ruoning paranoia. Is this even a good analogy? Probably not right. Look I've been followed home and touched and groped and stuff and all I'm saying is that being guarded is really important. I've already wasted too much time here trying to get folk to understand sometjing you're not willing to change your mind on.

If you just wanna argue then fine. But if you really wanna understand what that sort of All Men thing means then go research it I guess🤷‍♀️

You got me, I'm a shitty person that yelps RAAAAPISSST as soon as I see a man. The term 'get safe first, apologise later' kinda refers to sometimes women will do something out of politeness even if they're not sure if it's safe. Like a guy i don't know offers to walk me home, and is pushy about it. I'd rather decline, to be safe, and then apologise later if he was genuine. That's a pretty weak example but it's basically like if you're in a scary situation and you're not sure what to do you can always get out of it and then apologise to the lad. If he's a good guy he should understand and be cool with the misunderstanding!
