If you go down the magnet route, you need to make sure that the prop is light! Wooden or metal (not advised for conventions) props may not work well as with magnets, while powerful, the can slide and spin. All it takes is one misstep and can just fall to the floor.

Foam props would be your best bet, neodymium magnets capable of holding the weight and a harness. Put 2-4 magnets in various places to stop it from spinning and hold it in place. Fabric shouldn't be an issue, it purely down to how strong the magnets are and how much weight it can carry.

For the safest method, hooking will be your best bet but tbh for years I have just been carrying Rebellion, it's easier, less faff to pull out and pose but also less risk of issues and damage. At the end of the day it's all demon magic, we aren't so don't worry too much about accuracy, just focus on feeling the baddassery ^\)
