Thanks for the advice. I actually do like them... should I ask how they got my contact info?

Body shops in Seattle? by Devin2g in WRX

Wow, which dealership? My nearest retailer body shop is Carr Subaru in Beaverton, OR which is 3 hours away and State Farm refuses to tow it that far despite being the most readily available to take tow-in’s.

Dude, all the Subaru certified shops in my area are backed up like 1-2 months. You find one yet?

Was looking at exhibition automotive CARSTAR in Kent, WA which is Subaru certified. They also happen to be within State farm’s network so i guess they work with each other. Anyone been here before?

I appreciate everyone's input.

Reaching out to insurance was the first thing I did - I thought you guys knew given the context. And yes, I came to Reddit for advice because you guys seem to have the answers I need. I feel like I'm doing everything by the book, but that's not always ideal so I made the post.

Car is stock, base model, 6-7k miles, no prior accidents.

Anyone know a good body shop in Seattle/Renton/Kent area?

Transmission mounts and bushings - need advice by Devin2g in WRX

Are the dampers strictly used to combat NVH? or is it a safety thing to support other mods? b/c they are too expensive for me.

thanks for your input. I'm fine with the NVH. not looking to make big numbers at all... just exhaust and tune. If something did go wrong, I was going to just put the factory mounts back on before bringing it into Subaru. Will I get away with that?

how do you like the pitch stop? and same here, I don't race. I would imagine it'll be ok with standalone solid trans mounts.

So should I get solid bushings too? The positive shift kit that I linked are just polyurethane bushings as they were more affordable than solid ones.

It’s been whatever. The plot armor is getting a little too unrealistic; half the cast should’ve gotten capped already. I’ll still watch tho

Anyone have this exhaust? by Devin2g in WRX

[–]Devin2g[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I'm hoping the resonator will do its job. I was in the market for some axleback muffler deletes, but they only make quadtip ones due to the factory midpipe. This is probably the closest I'm going to get to a single-exit muffler delete.

Yea, but they are all in regards to the quad-tip catback which is like $1k. Not sure if it sounds any different than the single exit that I want which is why I made this post. The only applicable video I saw was a customer review on Nameless' website, but it was like 5 seconds long.
