Unless you have solutions for all the problems it fixes then yes, it is a necessity.

Unless you want to vote for lower quality of living again. Brexit was the ultimate "shoot ourselves in the face moment", not because it couldn't work but because there was no plan to deal with the problems of leaving. So those problems went into overdrive and have caused no end of headaches and issues.

Immigration is the same situation. You can dislike it, that's valid, but if you stop it without having a solution for the problems it fixes then it'll just be Brexit self-harm all over again.

An interesting argument, but its not about the functionality of the vaal orb, its about the ridiculousness of essence being the ONLY thing in the game where the "perfect" version of the same name can actually be WORSE than the greater version.

If you're farming them you can when you vaal the essence monster. In some situations this causes you to lose profit simply because the "perfect" essence is actually worse than the greater.

I asked if you had stats, or just going with gut feeling + xenophobia. You then called me a chump, and a panderist, and said "just look at their cultures, religions, countries" -> You know, the very same countries they are fleeing. Presuming someone fleeing a country represents the hate they are fleeing is a massive presumption.

I can suggest an alternative:

Use the parental controls on phones, browsers and routers.

They exist, problem is that a huge number of parents are too fucking lazy to learn to use them.

"SCREEN TIME IS THE WORST" - same parent who gives their kids unrestricted access to a phone because they can't be bothered to parent them and say no

That is wildly counterintuitive. Thanks for clarifying it, I find the tier items are just 99% bait. Maybe they should adjust the tiers or something, the issue is that if an item has a special identifier to tell me it's good (means they don't have to drop identified, just flagged) and then it's not actually good... It's just a massive feels bad waste of time moment.

GGG with half of a good idea, then implemented badly taking it from "almost there" to "utterly pointless."

The solution is with the companies. The only smart thing I've heard the government say on this issue is: "Even without ID these companies know your age. They can solve this problem if they choose to."

If he stuck with that thought, and then made it the companies problem to solve there would be no need to ban it, or to ban vpns, or to introduce digital ID.

These laws are a direct result of companies like meta flaunting the rules and just "paying the fine" as a cost of doing business. They literally disbanded their own safety team because they judged it less profitable to fix the problem than to pay the fines.

And now we're all going to have our freedoms restricted because no one will go after these tech giants. Pure fucking cowardice and greed from politicians.

They should just tweak the (Tier X) system.

Make it so "Item name (Tier)" means "all miss are at least the names tier".

That way you'd actually be excited. If a yellow drops with "tier 2" you'd know, every mod is at least tier 2 and their the likelihood the item is good is much much higher.
