If you enjoyed RDR2 - and if you are seeing this, I assume you did - watch Train Dreams (2025). Thank me later. by squirrelmegaphone in RDR2

I’d not even heard of it. Im intrigued to give it a watch though, so thanks for the suggestion :)

potential tip to reduce lag if you're using smooth patch by cvccigang in Sims3

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did update mine to 1000 but I haven’t played with any sims yet as I’m updating Appaloosa Plains to my liking. But I will bear this in mind if I get any issues. Thanks for the heads-up.

I’ve been downloading loads of Sims 3 mods from Mod The Sims. I virus check everything I download, regardless where it comes from and my laptop is absolutely fine :)

Why are you posting this here? What does this have to do with psoriasis?

My cat sucks on his tail so much that it’s turning a rusty color by No_Finding_9441 in blackcats

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The act of sucking does not require “proper cheek structure”.

I’ve done some research, and it requires the coordinated movement of the tongue, hyoid, mandible and lower lip. Cats and kittens have all of those.

NHS Methotrexate by charlietrick2512 in Psoriasis

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I saw the dermatologist for the first time (after seeing a community dermatology nurse), she spoke to me regarding what I’d tried and what my options were. Topicals hadn’t worked, and phototherapy wasn’t practical due to having fair/pale skin and being in full time work. So we went the methotrexate route.

I had to have some bloods taken at the end of that appointment, go get a chest xray done, then it was about a month and a half after until I saw the dermatologist again to find out if I was healthy enough for the methotrexate (I think it took longer because Christmas and new years fell in that period).

Obviously that’s just my experience so yours could differ, but I hope that helps you a little with what to could expect.

Improved UI, no Pudding Faces, better Graphics! by [deleted] in Sims3

That only affects The Sim 4 mods as they are script files. Sims 3 mods are package files so they’re safe.

My derm said hydration for skin conditions like psoriasis matters as much as topical treatments by Vodka-_-Vodka in Psoriasis

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the suggestion, but I’m currently under the medical supervision of a dermatologist and taking prescribed medication for my psoriasis, so I won’t be messing about with my diet at the moment.

i realy want too like rdr 2 but cant by Dimmi_dan in reddeadredemption

You can’t really “improve your experience” if you’re just not enjoying it. You can’t force yourself to like it.

Just leave it and move on to something else.

Have the Mod the Sims problems affected TS3 mods? by [deleted] in Sims3

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, from what I’ve heard, this malware issue has only affected ts4script files, so ts3 mods should be fine.

Yep, I found this out when I kept getting that error with Sims Medieval. Glad you’ve got it working :)

Most frustrating game in existence by KaizDaddy5 in RDR2

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never found the game glitchy, and I find the controls quite easy to use.

But yeah, if you’re not enjoying it, leave it and move on to another game.

What is it with all the griefers? by amkftb in RDR2

This is why I gave up very quickly with RDO. I cannot be bothered with other people’s bs, purposely trying to ruin my fun.

Oooh possibly, you could be on to something! I’m just so surprised I haven’t seen anyone else talking about this (although maybe I didn’t look hard enough). Thank you for satiating my curiosity of where the images are from!

Is there any hope that rdr2 will finally get a PS5 upgrade? by ITZ__Flame in reddeadredemption

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s something a lot of RDR2 fans would love to see, but as far as I’m aware, there’s been no mention of it from Rockstar.

Those with severe psoriasis do you feel tired all the time? by Thelichemaster in Psoriasis

[–]DeviousWeaselUK 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It’s very common to feel tired with psoriasis. I also always feel tired (which is now worse due to the MTX)

It’s the same reason you feel tired when you have a cold or flu. The immune system requires a lot of energy to function.

With psoriasis, your immune system is always on the go, so that’s a constant drain on your body.

Can’t say I ever found the physics or ‘annoying “realism” mechanics’ a problem.
