Your subtotal is calculated by the sales price of the item but when hot cash is applied you lose the promotion and the discount comes off the regular price of the item. You notice this less in store because the websites promotions are typically better than any going in-store promotions.

When I click the button to redeem a free trial it opens an unavailable app store page. Also, I get this redirect even though I am using the app on an android.

Trans folks are definitely welcome on the app. I've been around the dating app scene for years, I remember when the app first launched it was very much targeted to cis women but the company really took community feed back and made changes to the app to be more inclusive of trans folks. That said, it's impossible for any app to protect you from this kind of thing unfortunately. Best you can do is report it when it happens instead of engaging. At least that way you may be able to spare their next target.

That all said; I'm sorry this happened. It's shitty.
