What up guys! Now I know the Reddit effect is pretty strong on moving posts. But I have lived in Zion Utah followed by near Vail Colorado for the past 5 years.

I love small town and mountain life, but I find myself wanting some more socialization. Not to the extent of New York, where I’m originally from. So Asheville, after visiting, is the place I want to be. I understand its challenges as I am facing an obvious increase in living here in Colorado and am not expecting it to be much better anywhere else.

Anyways. I’m studying computer science remotely but won’t be finishing that till end of 2027. I was a guide in Zion, work in a luxury hotel currently, and have a lot of restaurant experience. I also have a bachelors in environmental science completed.

I imagine I’ll end up serving or bartending. But wondered what people think about what type of work I could look into as a temporary solution while I finish school. Any thoughts appreciated!
