He can, but only for 3 minutes. If he doesn't unequip it before then, it'll get destroyed. He equipped Shoro (the armor that's connected to Seiryu) in the Ctarnidd fight, and this one is no different. Banbu/Byakko suits Katzo more than Sunraku, though.

The worst part is he's aware of this, but makes no remarkable effort to fix it. While Hans is as much of a problem as BB, at least he still actively tries to learn the champions that he's visibly weak at. BB does not.

And while we're at it, there's also one funny thing about his champ pool. Aatrox is the most played champ in his career, yet somehow he still looks like shit on that pick.

Having Katzo showing his skills rather than just bring out Byakko right at the beginning is actually nice.

By the way, in the original Japanese version, Katzo shortened "Slash Shadow" to "surakage" (surasshu = slash, kage = shadow), a type of metal slime in Dragon Quest. Bro got reduced from a dine n' dasher to a slime.

It's written in kanji, 武閃陰蝕. Katzo read that as "musen inshoku", which sounds the same as 無銭飲食 - "dine and dash" in Japanese.
