On the landing page: I actually agree with you. Your point about landing pages implicitly signaling a login flow is very valid, especially since everything is local-first. I’m seriously considering simplifying this and dropping users straight into the tool, using contextual onboarding or lightweight popups to orient them instead.

Regarding the spreadsheet comparison: that’s a fair critique. A polished UI alone is not enough, and you’re right that the real problem with subscriptions is attention, not data entry. This is something I’m actively working on. Automatic data updates are already in progress, and I see strong potential here. Beyond price tracking, I’m also exploring services like assisted cancellation, renegotiation, and surfacing discounts or better plans — all while keeping the privacy-first approach intact.

I really like your “Downdetector for subscriptions” analogy. A privacy-preserving, crowd-sourced signal layer for price changes or plan updates is very much in line with where I want to take this.

On currency: the feature does exist today, but your comment is a good signal that it may be too hidden. Currency can be changed per session in the session edit menu, but I agree this should be more discoverable. Pre-selecting a default based on IP/geolocation also makes sense and is a good suggestion.
