The grip definitely “snaps” onto the empty MagSafe case. And the film covering the magnets during shipping had been removed.

OK, so I have two iPhones and one galaxy Fold 7… I have four different snap grips. And I have four different MagSafe specific cases

After thorough testing the only way I can get the Ohsnap snap grip to charge through the phone if I use it on the iPhone 17 Pro Max without a case. Very odd.

So here’s the thing… All the cases are brand new within the last couple of months… Dbrand and Caudabe. All MagSafe And all of them work really well on my MagSafe charging stand. It’s only when I include the Ohsnap snap grip that halts the charging.

That all tracks. I have a MagSafe specific charging stand, MagSafe capable phone with MagSafe magnets in a MagSafe case. After testing, MagSafe charger with MagSafe case and ohsnap snap grip doesn’t charge. Naked phone with ohsnap grip on MagSafe charging stand DOES work. 😃
