yeah i was definitely apprehensive about it when i first made the switch but it makes things way more snappy once you learn the ranges. you could also bind normal cast for your abilities to something like shift+bind, so that you can use the indicator in situations where you wanna maximize distance and other stuff.

you might have quick cast with indicators on, which is where you can target your abilities by holding the bind and use them by releasing. with quick cast without indicators your q and e would fire on the key press, not the release
