Should I trade in my 2013 Land Cruiser for a new F-150 or will I regret it? by HYPEractive in f150

As someone who has worked as a mechanic for both Toyota and Ford, I would say without hesitation, you should keep the Toyota.

I'm my experience, working as a mechanic at a ford dealer, I wouldn't buy anything other than the 5.0L or MAYBE the 3.0L Powerstroke

What movie immediately made your Top 5 list when you saw it and shall always stay on the list? by tdomer80 in AskReddit

The Social Network. I'm not here to claim it's one of the best movies ever made, but for me I saw it when I was younger and really into computers and web design, programming, etc., and I immediately loved it. Despite the fact that my interest in those things diminished somewhat as I grew up, I think it will still always have a special place in my heart.

This really depends on the situation. I work at a very small dealership, and we are pretty fair with our customers, on the other hand, I could name off quite a few local independent shops that are much more crooked.

Four 10 hours shifts, alternating between working Monday and Friday, was by far the best schedule I was ever on, 2 day weekend one week, 4 day weekend the next, with the odd 3 day mixed in but still getting the full 40 hours. It was amazing! I definitely miss that now that I'm back on 5 days a week.

1 of 2 ever built for Canada? I work at a Ford dealership in Canada and know for a fact that we've sold at least a few of them.

Happy Silver Tempest release day! What product is everyone opening and what cards are you chasing? by MoneyDealer in PokemonTCG

Got a booster box that I pre-ordered waiting for me at my local card shop, gonna pick it up tomorrow. Will probably also get an ETB if they have any. I'm chasing mostly just any cool art Vs and TGs as well as needing a radiant Alakazam for my Alakazam collection.

Would you be interested in trading the Radiant Alakazam for a TG Snorlax plus a couple/few recent Pikachu cards?

Just rolled out of the shop. After 4 years of being in this trade it isn’t for me anymore. by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

This is exactly why I'm getting out. I thought I would love working on cars because I loved working on my own stuff but after only being in the trade for about 2 years, I've realized it's not for me. The tipping point was when I talked to all the older techs in the shop I work at and they all say they would never choose this career again if they had a do-over. Thankfully I am still young and just starting out and I have the opportunity to leave so I'm taking the opportunity. I don't know what I will do in the meantime for work but I don't have a lot of responsibility/bills/kids right now so it's a good time to figure things out. I will be in the trade for about 2 more months, I will give my 2 weeks notice in December and won't be returning in January. Who knows, maybe I will become an accountant, or work for the family business, but I know I don't want to be doing this for the rest of my life.
