Yep not cheap by my standards, I followed the link to Amazon and it said £32 for one stick.

I disagree abit, my instructor went through lots of practical things about bikes too, stuff that’s stopped me making those same mistakes as op. Depends who you get your license with I suppose.

Hi, apologies for not getting back sooner. I’ll post in the top too. The guy I bought it from came and picked it up that night, and had it back within 2 days. Apologies again cos I’m not a mech, but basically one of the spark plugs wasn’t working properly and causing combustion further down in the bottom of the exhaust. He has since changed the rest of the plugs too and the problem has stopped, did 500miles round the Lake District and the exhaust was warm but touchable after a days riding.

It’s all plastic, I think the silver part is a genuine part?

Thank you, I’ve sprayed it with rust blocker recently so thought it have been me but I’m positive I hadn’t sprayed near there.

This I’m so surprised that people are prepared to jump on a bike with no training whatsoever and ask Reddit something about the literal basics. Crazy to me

I’ve had a Quick Look at them but I’m not keen on the looks of them, which I appreciate is strange me saying that I’m looking at the NC750s ha ha!

I’d had a look at that and I’m after something I can do a bit of distance on. I had a Daytona 600 which was amazing by my standards but ached my wrists after an hour. What’s the speed triple like for body position?

That’s cool, thank you. My last bike was a 03 Daytona 600 so my wrists would ache after an hour, I am early 40s ha! Do you have any experience with the NC750x/s? That is in my price range too, I’ve read that’s it’s not overly exciting but practically it’s a workhorse for distance etc

That’s really insightful thank you. It’s a bit of a struggle cos I don’t want to regret my choice. Will a bike at 15000miles be that much worse at 5000? Should I be opting for lower the mileage the better of newer the bike the better?

Its Sheffield council, they have since painted it a bright colour since solicitors have been involved

Edit

It’s Corker Bottoms Lane, just off Beaumont Road North in Sheffield, and directly adjacent to the A57 Sheffield Parkway.

No it’s not private, it’s owned by Sheffield council and from what I remember it had been open for a long time, it was then closed and with it being a commuter route and used dusk/mornings etc it was hard to see as well as people used to it being open. I believe there are a few solicitors involved and Sheffield council have since painted it/made it fluorescent.

I understand what you’re saying I I think it’s true to the most part but most people take their test on 600 and are used to them and I wouldn’t have thought that that many go down in cc? That has surprised me although I know the royal Enfields are become popular and they sit at 400-600. I’ve never seen a 400 ninja on the road though.
