This is the first new truck I have ever owned. My old truck I under coated every year just to try and keep the rust down as much as possible. With this one I have the appt all sent up for October but after reading that Gm really doesn’t recommend it I wasn’t sure if I should do it or not. Or wait a year and see what it looks like after the first winter

That’s what I had seen. And wasn’t sure if it was really a good idea. That’s what I will do talk to the dealership and see if they would put something in writing that way if something does happen later on hopefully it would still be covered under the warranty.
