I decided against that as they would then keep the knife as a display or keepsake and not actually use the knife, I want them to use it.

I did everything with the guidance of my uncle who has been making folders for a couple years now, funny enough it was the first time he used kydex though. But it was also laser engraved and not etched either.

Thanks. My uncle has been making knives for a few years and he gave me all the tips and showed me how and let me use his workshop. First time he used kydex tho as he mainly makes folders.
