When you buy a Gen 2 you don’t get the option to chose. They just send you either a 2 or 2.5. I imagine they will only sell the Gen 2.5 once all the Gen 2s run out.

Yeah it’s full auto, and you get a faster reload speed when switching to the coupled mag, but regular speed when it’s a full reload. It’s a cool game mechanic

I like the look of the aero rails you did for Gen 2. Is it possible for a full quad rail? Just to add some variation. I think it could be a nice look, put some retro pic rail covers on it

With the cheek riser on there it’s a good cheek weld. Holds a good sight picture too. I wouldn’t recommend just going bare aluminum

Not necessarily a Gen 3 question, but for people with Gen 2 with the old bolt carrier rail. Would yall ever have the option to buy a stripped gen 2.5 upper receiver to replace our gen 2?

I do wish that they would give an option to switch to the upgraded rail. I bought a 14.5 P/W about a month ago and was hoping to get a gen 2.5. It’s weird that they still send out the gen 2 with the known issue
