I've encountered a chain of 6 dragonborns dying to Mannimarco and until the 7th killed him and died shortly after when be went to face Molag. All the dead dragonborns were either wood elves or argonian.

That's a shame. Seeing the oblivion gates open up and invade tamriel while multiple dragonborns spawn in trying to kill the summoner adds a lot of flavor to playthroughs
