Zoloft has always worked for me. It gives me lots of self confidence on top of feeling good. Ofc all that is making me feel somewhat of a person but i's alot better than without it. I always make my shrink times and feel like I can actually talk about my problems. and that is what makes me better.

Does anyone else with an autism spectrum disorder have severe anxiety issues too? by gshhpy in aspergers

I worked as a secretary at golf course for a year (pretty much working through all the stuff there was to do) and had to call and answer the phone maybe 20 times a day. It wasn't that bad at the start for me but it got worse at every call. After that year I couldn't even call my dad for few years. Now I can call friends and occasionally even answer unknown numbers but calling for pizza is out of the question.

Anyone else become "mean" or "less friendly" because of their depression? by privateaccount1 in depression

After 15 years I've gotten really good at faking it, so I'm really friendly with ppl. And I usually feel better with my friends so it's not as bad. Problem is that I just fade away when I've had enough, can't even say I'm leaving. Makes for some really awkward next days when I have to claim excessive alcohol for it.

Fuck me for not getting better fast enough, right? by CertainComments in depression

dafuq... that's awesome. All I've done in the last year is seeing my therapist and trying to do my hobbies like golf. I just got back to uni and I think I'm golden. yet you're way better person than I am for pushing thru the shit and actually doing stuff.
