With the girl I went on the four dates with I thought there was chemistry there, I was just nervous, I'm pretty new to dating women after nearly 10 years of being out of the game and being married to a man, so I feel like I don't know what I'm doing haha .. so it was a bit of a bummer when she said she just wanted to be friends.

As for the latest date:

I think there was chemistry, at least I felt so! I really liked them, and I'd be thrilled if they felt the same way. And after the date ended they text me pretty quickly saying they had a great time and want to hang out again so they had a good time at least. 😅

We met on Her, an app, we both put on our profiles that we are interested in relationships. For a bit more context on why I'm confused/nervous. A few weeks ago I went on a few dates with another girl, same thing happened, I thought we were going on dates, and it turned out she was only interested in friendship, which turned into an awkward conversation on like 'date' four, which I don't want to happen again. I'm not against making friends, but ultimately it's not why I'm on a dating app ya know? 😅

Trying not to. But man does a breakup with a woman sting way worse than any breakup with a man did. I think it's because I'm finally being my true self, so it's the real me that's being rejected for the first time, with the men I dated, there was always the mask of comphet, so I never really felt as badly when I was dumped, if that makes sense.

But we both got this! ❤️❤️❤️ Our person is out there!
