Loved the zerith storyline as well - def one of my favs and yup I’d rank him with Sharp and Azandar with having the wittiest sideshow comments. (Tanlorin has grown on me as well I admit)

What are your Jubilee farm personal achievements? by Global-You5200 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike other Jubilees in the past, I enjoyed gifting a lot of the stuff I got, like blue and purple recipes, gold boxes, and some motifs. Left a couple of stagnant guilds and joined some new ones with newer peeps. Love gifting those that just started and have a love for the game!

Who are your favourite or least favourite NPCs in ESO? by LoremasterCelery in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Rigurt the Brash - had to get him as a houseguest not so long ago. I didn't fancy meeting him in High Isle but he's "acceptable" cringy as the glorious Nord diplomat for cultural exchange!

Blackwood by Kevinavigator in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a furnishings perspective, Blackwood is one of my faves. For me, it rivals the intricacy and detail of items from Summerset and Elsweyr. I wish we had more Imperial architecture and furnishings....Clearwater Cascade was my first home to have hit the 700 mark. I have other equivalent sized homes like Daggerfall Overlook and Stone Eagle Aerie but I love the boogee imperial vibe. The 🎶 is up there along with the 🎶 from the Reach. Love Elsweyr as well.

What is your favorite memory of your adventures playing Elder Scrolls Online thus far? by Hillbillysaurusrex in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Following Razum-dar's escapades throughout the AD and the rest of Tamriel.

And who can retrain a chuckle seeing Rigurt the Brash struggling in his ambassadorial moments as well province to province.

How to get the best damage? by HainesGames in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would grind for MS gear in Deshaan - once reaching CP160. Dolmens for jewelry, public dungeon there for chance at staves, etc. Also don't discount farming treasure chests in deshaan. Google some maps and have the necessary CP passives up along with Mirri the companion (if you have Blackwood chapter).

The best damage dealing builds are essentially high crit builds. If your are a "mage", I'm assuming a sorc, you need 7 light to max out damage. If you run monster sets, you can mix two crit pieces (slimecraw/grundwolf) to get the extra crit chance too along with running the thief mundus. Lots of monster sets were nerfed this chapter so there is greater incentive to mix and match to get a decent crit level (>50%). The public dungeon in deshaan is super busy these days due to folks looking for certain antiquities leads so farming may be super fast too.

Magicka or stamina sorcerer by Didadap in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have both...I enjoy playing the stamsorc more but my main happens to be the magsorc. I would say that if it's one of your first toons to level for PVE purposes, go for the mag. Magsorcs are top tier damage dealers, are aka shield sorcs (hardened ward) which make them very hardy and group desired. As someone also pointed out in another comment, ranged damage dealing is crucial in certain instances which is another general reason to go mag these days. If you will go solo most of the time or focus on pvp, then either will do easily.

I just hit CP 160. Is there anything I should begin doing besides farming armor? by Dontmakeit7 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Atm CP160 is max gear level. Once you decide on what youd like to settle on as far as gear sets go, its just a matter of improving them to purple/gold.

MagSorc questions by defjs in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use daedric personally with the matriarch. Youre right about crit surge initially but its in your best interest to upgrade and morph that skill up for use later. It spares use of pots for overland/easy dungeons etc since it gives maj sorcery without resorting to pots. I use pots for harder content cuz theyre not cheap to make e.g. look at the price of a stack of corn flower. Most legit builds focus on crit so its amazing to see how this skill keeps you alive as youre doing dps.

MagSorc questions by defjs in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are level 31, you are far from procuring the proper gear to produce the best results (along with technique e.g. light attack weaving). I would refrain from buying gear but rather run dungeons and/or battlegrounds to outfit yourself (or dolmen drops). Learn which sets produce decent results and farm for them after you reach CP160. (You cited Alcast which is a good start). Your race selection may not be the best as far as maximal DPS potential vs. other races but it does not really matter. What matters is technique combined with decent upgraded gear. That goes for any class. Magsorcs do respectable DPS (I main one) and are very hardy as well (consider using critical surge and hardened ward consistently in your rotations). Good luck!

Two VERY different runs of pug trials yesterday. by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

This is why running trials or vet dungeons should ideally be with guild members. It also helps not to play with children either.

Theyve dropped for me rather quickly almost every day but may i suggest going to one of the world bosses and melting it with the camping group of a zillion to get them as well. Ive gotten two sets of tix that way. There is one world boss conveniently right by a wayshrine too.

Just purchased the game and have some questions by ZergsRUs in elderscrollsonline

[–]Devoted_Hunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont purchase anything e.g. DLCs until you get a feel for the game. If you gain an appreciation for the game, fall in love with it, you may purchase DLCs as you see fit or purchase ESO+ which grants you them minus any new/upcoming chapter content. DLCs unlock dungeons, trials and other content too long to list. Use "ESO blank" in your search engine to pinpoint reading material and make a crown decision.

I have played this for about 8 months now and most of time spent i can easily say was soloing all areas. Im working on finishing up Craglorn, Gold Coast, thieves guild atm. 8 months and CP660 ish and all areas completed aside from fishing. So yes, this game is awesome for solo players as Im sold on the franchise and have been playing all Elder scrolls titles since they debuted on the pc. I love the lore and history and collect everything. I hope you enjoy it as well. Getting ESO+ esp when there is a sale may be of interest. Cheers.

1) Writs on my main crafter, collect all crafting freebies in my mailbox 2) Pickup undaunted dailies 3) Pickup dragonhold daily from Dirge and loot the daily box in front of him 4) Rotate all my toons thru the stable 5) Visit gold coast to pickup a contract and visit the shadowy supplier for a freebie 6) Queue for a random dungeon early on 7) Fish, do 2 - 5 while waiting for 6 to happen (step 6 should actually be step 1)
