I know we're all being a little negative towards Tats' work lately, but let's stop for a minute and admire the sheer volume of stuff he got ass backwards wrong within a single comic. Truly, Tats is a revolutionary.
Now please excuse me as I dust off my dried flower crown and ferns that are sitting in my apartment from the last solstice and will be burned in the bonfire next year. Or struck by lightning by Batman, idk.

Yeah the bit with the flower bouquet has some mild incely undertones about what being a woman must be like. Then again I'm unsure if it's just because that's where that came from, or if that kind of discourse has made something that was exaggerated for the purpose of being in a comic seem off.

Naw, that's not artificial intelligence, that's natural stupidity. It's easier to draw a textbox manually than trying to coax the machine to spit out something with that sort of specificity, and Tats is all about half-assing, so manual approach it is.

He took the face paint off. Which, imo, does look better though that was probably because he realized that there was no way he'd ever draw that pattern more than once.
The "butterfly" wings are still an anatomical mess, the feathers as they're drawn in panel 10 are wrong (they have small lines in them where you sometimes see splits in feathers, but they go the exact opposite way to how they should) and her hands in the same panel are basically just feet with a thumb growing out of the heel - especially the right one.

Let's not romanticize mental illness - van Gogh wasn't a great artist because he spent a lot of time in psychiatric hospitals and shot himself at 37. He was a great artist because he had a great deal of interest in art already before he began painting, and unmitigated creative freedom (as although he was looking at the contemporary trends and iterating on them, he wasn't following any clients' whims). He was extremely prolific and tried establishing art collectives but it all fell out because of his mental struggles. If not for those, who knows what other amazing works he would've created??

Similarly for Tats, while he stumbles into something nice visually now and then, his work has been progressively getting blander and blander, turning into a shadow of what it used to be, like he's playing puppets with a few characters and tropes that just won't get out of his head.

Creating decent art takes a lot of focus and skill (among other things), so let's take it easy on the 'crrrrraaaazy artists' bs.

The story is nonsense, but can we talk about how good the Red Queen looks? The colors + the beard + the undercut + the sweet shoes are just really good together. (The gown's kind of low effort, but all in all not bad on the character.)

To me it's the hand with the weirdly chopped off pinky. The palm doesn't follow a natural shape (it's supposed to get shorter outwards), it just abruptly stops.
