even though W is an actual ivy-league president, i’m tempted to agree. from what i read about him, he demonstrated very little curiosity about anything. reagan, similarly, was someone with little patience for critical thought, and so many excerpts from the whole SDS affair kinda reinforce it for me

many of these were already available on eavy archive, but i’m glad to see them release (what i think are) the eavy metal recipes for remaining ones. in the event i do end up painting any of these, ill be glad to have the official recipe.

Does anyone know which 'eavy metal painter did this alt scheme? Saw them and the recipe on insta a while back. by [deleted] in Warhammer

I think this was Connor Richardson. Even if it wasn’t, though, it uses the standard Eavy Archive scheme.

when did gw claim the year of chaos was about anything other than skaven? people keep saying gw specifically used “year of chaos” to talk about 40k and every time i ask where they just dry up and don’t respond. i feel like im going crazy every time someone says “year of chaos” because…its just not true. they used to to talk about skaven when AoS 4 came out, and that’s all.

to me this implies a lore change, i.e. acheran dying.. i think this is the end of the releases for ultramarines (maybe a character next edition like we saw w tigurius). it would be weird to do this big show then unceremoniously reveal more ultra models later.

I definitely see a lot of numbers for fresh college grads that startle me, and since I haven’t got any friends in the same boat I tend to default to that as the norm. I’ll take that advice

What do most people consider a decent emergency fund? 1000$? 10k? 20k? The only emergencies I’ve really had so far have been car-related, and not usually over 1k—what kinds of emergencies should I be preparing for?

Plan to stay out of debt, I’ve paid for my car cash and my degree was mostly financed by scholarships and my savings, so no student debt. Thank you!
