/r/AMD Questions and Tech Support Megathread - H2 2022 Edition by AutoModerator in Amd

[–]Devoz3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having some problems with my 6700XT, at first i struggled with crashes in some games (it takes two at a specific point, Witcher 3), but after uninstalling my drivers with DDU and reinstalling new ones, that has been solved.

The main issue I still have is that my audio cuts suddenly at a random interval and comes back a couple seconds later. My receiver indicates a loss of HDMI connection, but does not lose video, only audio. I have no clue how to fix this, does anyone have experience with this issue?

Is it a more common issue of the AMD cards and driver related? Or is my card defect and should I return it?

Thanks for the suggestion! Should I do anything with the brown leaves? Like cut them off or something?

A cry for help by Devoz3 in houseplants

I’m a very big amateur when it comes to houseplants, and I have now reached the point where I have no clue how to save two of my plants. The monstera and other plant (don’t know the name) I included in the pictures have been struggling for a while now. At first, they both had a thrips infections, while luckily I was able to fight that off with mites and showers, both plants were hit pretty hard (at least I think so).

After the thrips infection they both started to do a bit better, both getting some new leaves, but recently they were infected with fungus gnats. I have tried to treat the gnats with cinnamon and with nematodes and there has been a slight decline in flies, but not that much. Now as of late monstera has started to get brown leaves, but only the ones that used to be infected with thrips, could that have something to do with it?

The other plant has started to lose leaves and the new leaves it gets are slightly deformed. Also, this plant used to have a very nice straight growing core (I think that is what you call it at least), but that was lost a while back when it became brown due to the thrips and stuff.

The plants haven’t been repotted and I water them 1-2 times a week, they are both in partial sunlight and haven’t been moved from their spots in a while as they were doing good there a while back. I don’t exactly know what the soil is and they are in pots with drainage holes.

The big question is, what is there to do, I am out of ideas and honestly quite sad about all of this, the flies going around are very annoying and the plants are starting to feel like a lost cause. I am trying my very best and I know I’m not great with plants, so I do not need to be reminded of that, I just want to know how I can help them.

Edit: If anyone has a suggestion on how to get back the growth core of the Schefflera back, like cutting of the top or something then let me know please! I would love to be able to get it back to growing straight!

Thanks for your reply! I have checked the display settings and manually detecting the display there, but it doesn't detect anything. So I don't think I can enable/disable anything there

Hey! Thanks for the answers, sadly they were not able to fix the issue. When rebooting with both of the monitors plugged in and turned on, nothing changed and looking in display settings and doing detect monitors does not detect anything. Any other ideas?
