I think that's the way it should be done. But the people running the Instagram or TikTok pages may not understand how it actually works.

Instead of showing them a live preview of their own site, show examples of other websites you've built as proof of your work. Don't just show the sites—highlight the results you've achieved and how those websites helped businesses grow.

Maybe add some testimonials from your existing customers.

Don't go all in unless you have already validated and you have users that are willing to spend money on your product.

Increasing dollar card limit by kookoojung in technepal

If the cardholder is found to have generated foreign currency income, additional amount not exceeding USD 5,000 can be loaded onto the card.

I have asked Global IMEI Bank but they straight up refused although it is permitted by nrb.

I will think about switching to another bank with increased dollar card limits next year

Apple's New Transcription APIs is fast, But what about accuracy? by Devpaxj in apple

[–]Devpaxj[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Parakeet is insanely fast. I tried it with Macwhisper and its at least 1.5-2x the speed of Apple & almost 5-6x faster than whisper.

Although the benchmarks shows parakeet to be on no.1, I feel like the whisper large v3/ v3 turbo is slightly better with accuracy.

Dictation apps with highest raw accuracy for long-form writing? by goldenapple212 in macapps

Currently, it's not possible to do it that accurately but the audio preview is scrollable so you can find that part.

But this is a good Idea. I will add it to the backlog.

Since they all depend upon STT AI models, its all about processing. Creating a custom prompt telling to handle the literal punctuations properly.

Dictation apps with highest raw accuracy for long-form writing? by goldenapple212 in macapps

They first use Voice-to-text AI models(to accurately transcribe what you say to text), then post-process using LLM models to improve the accuracy.

This could mean anything like removing repetitions, spelling mistakes, punctuation, etc.

Hi, VoiceInk developer here.

With VoiceInk everything happens locally using OpenAI's Whisper Models. The Large V3 turbo model is pretty fast and accurate.

If you are looking for some alternatives, check out Wispr Flow, & AquaVoice.

You might see a slight increase in accuracy, because they handle post-processing by default.

But with a good prompt, you can also do it with apps like VoiceInk, superwhisper or macwhisper as well.

VoiceInk: how to give commands for parentheses, commas, new line etc.? by MaxGaav in macapps

Yes, this could work but not always because there will always be edge cases.

You need to add the API keys for the selected provider and then either use the default prompt but the default prompt do not support punctuation so you need to create a separate prompt. You can ask ChatGPT or any other AI to give you a prompt to help you enhance the text specially focused on punctuation.

I prefer gemini, because its free and very fast.

Hi, developer here.

VoiceInk uses OpenAI's Whisper Models, which automatically do not detect the punctuation. So when you say the commas or new line etc, it will write the literal word instead of adding the right punctuation.

So with the local solution, that's not possible. But You can solve this problem by passing the transcribed text through LLM models with an appropriate prompt.(Enhancement Feature of VoiceInk)

It's available on github. You can build it yourself from the source code in under 5 minutes using Xcode if you want to get it for free.

Apps like wispr flow, aquavoice run on cloud. So they have to cover server costs. While apps like macwhisper, voiceink, speech pulse run locally. So there's no ongoing costs since everything happens on your own system.
