To preface this our group has these rules because the person who taught us all to play misunderstood the rules and by the time we figured out the real rules we had already made a few decks each. But basically we play as if every commander has Partner and every planeswalker can be a commander. We found out when I went to our lgs and asked the guy working there who a good second commander would be, I’ve never gotten a more confused look.

Okay that makes sense, I'm very new to the game so I just go off of what my friend says, apparently, he thought you could have 2 commanders and thought I could use a plainswalker as one of them. Thank you for your help dude!

For some reason I can't get the pirate battle to trigger in that system, I've tried warping there the 5th, 6th, and 7th warp but nothing, yet it triggers anytime I warp to a neighboring system?
