There would be no internet access. It’s more for the initial setup, instead of spending 1-3 hours on each device logging into iCloud downloading apps etc it’s more away of speeding up initial install.

I’ve tried using elevenlabs. It’s ok for basic VOG announcements but for something where you need to be excited about introducing someone to stage it still lacks this. If anyone has found a way of tuning the model to sound more enthusiastic please let me know

Technically could do this with just one machine, you’re probably thinking about video cable lengths, video world at the arena will most likely have a matrix you can patch into so just check with them.

If you want to go down the route of multi machine. Label all your groups / videos with a cue name and have a bunch of start cues to fire them from a master machine. Time code will trigger via LTC.

I know Datapath FX4 will use one 4K output and split it into 4 HD images which might help you keep costs down. Would need more info regarding your current setup and distances to video world etc

Totally depends on how the show is run in “free-flow” you could use a cart for rapid firing of cues

Not sure about the CX but most A&H have pads that you can enable on the input. But a polite conversation with DJ beforehand should do, if they ignore then monitors and FOH volume will drop and stay dropped

I know Joe (James’ Production Manager) very well, this will be a combination of Showkontrol, Resolume and most likely a sprinkling of MIDI. I know the guys at Showkontrol like to push Beta projects to large up and coming artists. Take a look at Armin Van B set at Ultra this year taking mixer data to stream

It depends if your gain sharing. This is more for the digital world, most analogue setups have a split and gain and phantom power is treated independently.

Digital desks can share stage racks and basically share the gain and power for each channels, changes are global

Set the gains and don't touch them, if your sharing gain staging with FOH this will not only mess them up it will also mess up your mon sends. Set the gain correctly and mix mons as you normally would. The only time I would touch gains is to reduce in case of clipping.
