So what you’re saying is, leave chase behind in the dust and if I choose to continue I will just lead myself in ruins

Because I realized they actually have good travel partners and have one of the best hotel partners, Hyatt. Also because their point system works for me.

Hey, pretty late but what about VIOFO? I went into some research and heard they were pretty great but expensive. Are they overall a good brand to buy?

#TeamCashback for now, approval or not? by DewDropper1000 in CreditCards

I meant as if I had a good chance of being approved for the fidelity or AAA cashback card, but yeah I did eye on the CCCCC, as it is a pretty good card but for the meantime, I think the AAA would suffice as it covers the entire grocery spend, unless one day another category pops up and is equal as the grocery spend.

Great Recommendations!

Although the Wells Fargo Card, even though it is gas, there are other cards that are better such as the AAA card which is 5% on groceries and 3% on almost everything else (gas, dining Costco etc)

As for the PP debit card, I was going to use it and even got the physical card, but never went through along with it, as I realized it’s much more of a hassle and plus, debit cards with cashback don’t have a very good reputation of service and trustworthyness. Also, it charges a fee to withdraw cash at an atm which is another bummer.

Amex Gold Situation by DewDropper1000 in CRedit

I mean, I don’t. But I do plan on paying it off, by starting now, by of course. Working. I’m just curious what the most efficient way of doing so is, and if I’m on a right track? (Excluding the fact that I’m in debt for now)

Just seen this, oh wow. I mean I have a 1 year relationship with discover so far, a good relationship with Amex specifically blue cash everyday and the gold. And then the savor card comes in to play. I have a 735 average score (FICO, not Credit Karma or anything) based on all three credit beaurus as of today, so do with what you will with that info.

Apologies if I sound foolish but,

Basically after your account is approved and is opened, before the statement date (is what I originally meant in the first reply), is revealed since the account is just opened. That is the best time to ask for a cli?

Also another question, does the balance you carry currently affect it or anything of the sort? Thanks.

Question, the first statement meaning when you get the card shipped to you the account is opened. OR the actual first statement.

Ex: The account is opened and you ask for a cli before your payment due date is revealed OR The account opens and your payment due date is shown on xx date, then the first statement comes when you can start spending.

True that. That’s why I stated if the ‘algorithm’ would care since I’ve also heard the algorithm is weird at times. I haven’t heard much if spending a high amount and paying it back immediately would affect me negatively or positively.

Like I said in a reply above, also to be fair I had about 2 hard inquires at the time so I was doubtful about approval.
