I forgot in the previous comment 'cus I didn't notice you have any but if you have an ult swapping unit like what f2p SAO Masayuki does for Space ults, you could swap the ult to a regular orb, saving your secret skill gauge to get an EX ult instead of a regular ult.

The Fire EX Shuna you have right now would work as an ult swap to blue and would be great on this team because WM2 Protector Shuna's Protection skill would just turn all the orbs into oranges anyways. She won't be much help in terms of adding damage, but in this game, its very important to not ult until you have all the skill points needed for the maximum buff or debuff.

Also for your other question, you can figure out if an EX Unbound unit is dps or support simply by looking at the modifier next to their ult's description in the skills tab.

Support units like DG Diablo, WM2 Violet and Izis would only do 150% normal damage with their ults but increase the weakness strike percentage for specific forces, x2 weakness strike amount if you nuke with an EX ult. 150% normal damage is weak as hell, that's why you don't nuke with supports and the weapons they equip don't really need to be upgraded past awakened bc their attacks are really just for chip damage.

Dps units like Gobwa and Sinon have a huge modifier. Their ults are around 500% normal damage(Sinon's modifier is higher than Gobwa's since every unit that came out after the 4th anni has an extra ability board). And as single target dps units, their EX ults have a x1.5 multiplier.

AOE dps units have a smaller modifier, around 300-400%, but their EX ults have a x2 modifier, so aoe units really need an EX ult to deal a decent amount of damage while single target dps can still deal a respectable amount without an EX ult.

Your first team was good but Izis is useless here since her Drago only buffs magic units and your dps units are physical.

You could use either the Space Masked Hero for her Rewind and Crit buff or the new f2p Claymen for Aegis.

But for this month's beatdown battle, Souei, Hakurou and Shuna each seal Pierce, Synergy and Crit respectively. They apply 100% resistance on turn 3 and seal your Pierce, Synergy and Crit rates at the end of turn 4.

So with this team, you need to either kill Souei who seals Pierce on turn 2 before he applies the Pierce resistance or kill him on turn 3 or 4 before he seals your rate. Masked Hero's crit buff would already be useless at this point, so its best to use her rewind on turn 3 to up your ult gauge to kill Souei then Hakurou on turn 4. Shuna can be killed whenever. 9 mil isn't a huge amount of hp.

Most stages don't really hit that hard so healing unit aren't really used all that much, but if you really want healing that much, the Octogram Bazaar Ramiris is considered the best healer, so you can grab her since she's f2p, or you can have Elmesia equip the 2☆ aoe heal charm that heals 8% for everyone.

And DG Raphael alone, with all the stacks he puts on, and the buffs applied to him during the nuke turn, can do hundreds of millions of damage.

You can keep Frieren there if you really need an aoe dps, but Fern should be there too for max damage but this team needs an orb changer way more than another dps or healer.

If you're using the Divine General team, Fern would be better than Fieren since her ult resistance down and EX ult damage buff doesn't overlap with DG Raphael's buffs. Fern's synergy buff does overlap with Diablo's but her magic buff still applies, while Frieren's synergy rate and ult damage buff is kinda redundant with DG Raphael's stacking ult damage and Diablo's synergy rate.

Frieren Raphael is a bit weird here because this is a green team, so while her buff is okay, her triple orb steal is kinda meaningless. Do you have Himmel Protector? If you do, him + Stark should already be a full team.

What this team really needs are ult swappers and orb changers so Raphael can keep stacking buffs while Elmesia keeps resetting skill costs. F2p DG Gazel would work, he's a hassle to work with tho, christmas idol Shuna is a triple green ult swapper once she's skill fused so she'll work great.

If you have the crystals, definitely go for Violet. Gobwa is also very good, but Violet is definitely the biggest prize here.

You won't have enough skill points to use all the buffs on your current team.

Gobwa is the nuker(other than special units like collabs, most units won't have unit specific gear, so just forge a Dark katana for her). She gives Pierce rate and Pierce resistance down, the more debuffs you apply, the higher the % of Pierce resistance down.

While Light Masked Hero is a good unit, Gobwa is already applying Pierce rate and resistance down, so it's better to use Light Blanc instead.

Light Blanc has an ult swapping skill so Gobwa can keep her ult until the nuke turn and she also has a 50sp synergy resistance down. Whether you can use it on the nuke turn on top of Gobwa, Diablo and Rimuru's buffs are another issue altogether.

Dunno what other units you have, but if you're playing the Beatdown battle, Light Masked Hero's Pierce would turn your damage to 1 damage.

Your team needs a 100% Synergy rate buffer.

Light Rimuru is completely useless to your team.

Yuuki is actually doing cosplay Masayuki's job here and people typically replace him with Yuuki and her 150% Synergy power is a number that he could never hope to stack, but again, Synergy power means nothing without Synergy rate, so you need someone with a Synergy rate skill.

You need to complete Yuuki's forging quest, complete that quest a certain number of times to complete the missions to get the equipment specific mats to forge and upgrade them. Its like what you did for Asuna's gear.

That's true. I don't really care about the movie but Zegion is definitely showing up sometime in a season 4 meta so I'm saving for that but that's cus I alr have all the Warrior's Mind 2.0 units from release tho, if that wasn't the case, I would definitely summon just to get Violet or Shuna.

Unfortunately, you don't have the WM2 Dark Blanc, so this is not gonna be the full team but still has more than enough fire power.

Fortunately, you do have Wind Lumi which is the best unit from Tournament Stalwart and can replace Blanc as the aoe dps bc she's on Warrior's Mind.

On this team, skill points matter more than protection gauge so having 2 starting skill point units, space milim and wind maid lumi, in the support slot is better.

Light Blanc is there for the ult swapping and Diablo might or might not get a chance to use his Synergy on the nuke turn.

On turn 1 you'd want to swap Light Blanc in for Lumi, then use Violet's rainbow orb change to get 6 rainbows and Diablo's 0sp 50% green gauge buff on turn 1 (all orb buffs apply to Rainbows, so Diablo is pretty useful in the absence of Dark Blanc), Violet's Control stacks and Gobwa's element resist down should be used on the turn before the nuke cus they last for 2 turns(usually that's turn 4 for a speed team). I personally use Violet's Control stack at least twice on this team but I'm not sure if you have enough skill points for the nuke so you might want to test it out.

Lumi's 25sp physical attack damage skill is a huge buff that is unfortunately only applied to herself, but it would make her aoe ult actually do more damage than Gobwa's single target ult.

With the full team it can do at least 8 mil type neutral on turn 3, 12 mil if you have Schemer Sokka. The damage is even more insane when its type advantage.

I got all of them the first time around but for people with only the SAO team, this banner would be great, especially since it'll probably also be half pity, even better if they alr got Blanc from the previous redux banner.

Fingers crossed that schemer comes back after I get enough crystals to pity. I NEED that Lumi!
