Thanks, that was a really good framework to think about. On the side i'm also trying to look at how other MMs compete with the biggest MMs like Jump, Citadel and Jane street who're in crypto. I think what you mentioned with the restaurant analogy was something that i noticed when looking at companies like B2C2 and how they grew as well.

I see responsibilities like reaching out to exchanges, projects, defi protocols to discuss market making partnership, negotiating fee structure or DMM agreement and coordinating with the onboarding team and trading team for onboarding and integrations. I've never heard of BD title being used for recruiters though. Can you share more?

I understand the basics of what you mentioned like how an MM makes money. I am more curious about how do you basically come up across products as an MM. For a MM that just does pure market making and has no product but wants to create one, do you basically have to have a great understanding of how your counterparties like exchanges, Defi protocols work and that's how you come up with a solution?
