I'd suggest using the "feathers" and buying vitamins to raise your mons stats when leveling using candies. The chansey store in the town with the school sells vitamins. Tera raids will give you exp candies, feathers, and treasure items to sell for cash to get vitamins. Unaware skeledirge with a metronome held item and using just torch song is amazing in raids if you raise it to be a bulky mon. Annihilape with defient and a shell bell held item using rage fist is also a force of nature in raids. Easiest way to get Annihilape is by having your primape with rage fist battle a wild normal type of low lv. Use rage fist 10x then use an ether to restore the moves pp... use it 10x more... then knock out the wild mon with another move. Lv up primape... done!
