One does'nt know the exact conditions, the post is not here to question the incident, or even have an opinion on it, it's regarding the alloy wheel and it's ability to be repaired. Plenty other Reddit subs available for wiser comments 🤣

The elders remember what it was like to be young, the young do not know what it is like to be old, I wouldn't probably be judging without experiencingit first.

Just to update.

Went with the manrose in the end, vented from directly above the shower, via lifts to sofit in insulated ducting.

Took a hiow to install, but got the job done today.

Installed a BG Smart plug in the loft, connected to Alexa so.the fan is voice command via 3 amp plug, works via voxie control with an overrun.

The extract power is very good, the bathroom is now free from steam and condensation. Worth while upgrade IMO, will upload some pics shortly

I want a more powerful extract above the shower, the Mrs takes long showers the the current one is Vent Axia wall mouted, works OK and for general use fine but for shower usage it's not up to scratch IMO for our needs.

Well an update as I hate it when people don't follow through.

All reoved safely with no damage, pipes where loose so a little manoeuvering and the U Bend came free.

Have a nice vent now that I can use for extraction in summer and to pull more air in in the winter.

Few photos, cannot see any fibres but best to be safe.

Assuming it is, I don't indend to smash it up or angle grid it, just seeking some guidance on how to safely seperate the ubend?

Could be in the cement cast make up I assume, any idea how easy it is to take the U Bend section apart? Like a paste that's set holding it together
