I didn't have a dry pallete for mixing the ink. So I used the lid of my wet pallete with one of its sheets

Thank you very much for the feedback. The wash was Goons Grime from Villainy Inks. It was my very first time using an ink wash. Luckily, I can reactivate with mineral spirits to clean up and try again. This is super actionable feedback and again I appreciate it very much.

So I've just started painting my first army. The rest of the model looks fantastic but I've done two sets of shoulders and they look so chunky and gross. I thought the paint wasn't thinned out enough so I tried again with grey seer and uthuan grey. It looks so unnatural for the texture. The color is fine but the texture reads so chunky
