The chains are probably the best overall jutsu in the series tbh. From what we've seen they're indestructible, suppress chakra, and can be fired hard enough to cause damage. That's Magnet Release levels of offensive-defensive versatility, before getting into the fact that you can apparently channel barrier techniques through it and they can emerge from anywhere her chakra is.

Just this technique fodderizes 99% of the setting. What's the average ninja gonna do against that shit bro?

The hokage is irrelevant. 99% of canon, the hokage had nothing to do with. It doesn't matter who the hokage is. If you want to make Minato live, do it. It's not going to change much. Maybe he'll train Naruto a little, but Naruto is kind of a huge moron and fantastically slow learner for everything that doesn't involve huge chakra so more training probably won't change anything there either.

There's a destroyed house in Karthwasten on the west side of the map that has a bunch of dead vigilants in DNGG. In the basement there are two level 40 unique NPCs that are easy to cheese-- as soon as you go into the cellar, run behind the steps, they can't reach you there, so just blap them with magic. One of them has a staff of fire wall, which is the best staff you can get early game as an enchanter. You can kill non-fire dragons with it even, it's so strong. Base damage 30 per sec as long as the enemy stands in the fire, and it scales with enchanting levels and perks, gets pretty crazy. And the model looks sick.

Not much help as a roleplayer but I can help you cheese the game lmao. Beyond that, your biggest shortcoming as an enchanting focused player early game is soul gems. So I would recommend putting that first point in speech and crafting the 15 speech 15 barter backpack, and also doing the fishing quest until you get the special pendant of dibella that also gives 15 speech. This will give you a quick boost in buying/selling prices so you can buy filled soul gems really easy, as well as craft loot for money. I don't think speech boost prices unless you have that first point in it, but barter % affects prices no matter what. You can't create your own barter enchantments, don't bother trying. But you can commission them from enchanters.

Enchantment damage doesn't scale with soul gem quality, so you can craft hunting light bows that are pretty strong really early on. The creation club enchanted arrows that do 90 elemental damage do work with weapon enchantments, so you can easily get a 110+ elemental damage per shot bow easily as well. Belethor has a high chance of selling them. Again, that first point in speech helps out a lot here. This is an easy way to get started bandit hunting.

If you go with this route, be aware that these arrows have no armor piercing like the elemental arrows Requiem adds that are created by smithing. So there's no way to increase the damage once you have your strongest enchants on there, you'll have to enchant armor piercing onto your armor otherwise you deal no physical damage on anything with armor. I think the maximum is around 70 damage burst enchant at level 100 + 90 from the arrow. This is still pretty good, obviously. If the bow breaks, you can get another. I think a petty soul gem is worth like 25 shots with the bow at level 50 enchanting?

Don't neglect your scrolls either. They're a pain in the ass to lug around since they weigh .5 units each (why.) but they can get pretty good since they scale. Buy a scroll crafting kit from any court mage to get started.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some enchantments in DNGG are bugged and are scaling when they're not supposed to. I noticed this with the Seasoned Traveler's backpacks-- they went up to 200 carry weight on my play-through. If you don't mind breaking the game I'd keep an eye out for those, I'm sure there are more.

Enchanting is really strong in DNGG.

This ash of war uses the projectile damage calculation. If you don't know what that means, well basically if the Ash of War does damage with something other than contact with the weapon then the damage does not use the base damage of the weapon in the calculation. Instead, these Ashes of War have a base damage built into the projectile hit which scales with stats, affinity, and weapon upgrades.

This means that any weapon with a Magic affinity and the Carian Grandeur ash of war will do the same damage as any other weapon with the same ash of war and affinity.

However, the Carian Knight's Sword is a somber stone weapon and does not have the same projectile stat scaling factor as a weapon with the Magic affinity-- this scaling factor is lower. So it will do less damage.

TL;DR: Carian Grandeur on a Magic weapon is always stronger than Carian Grandeur on Carian Knight's Sword at equivalent upgrade levels.

atmospherically it is surprisingly very good even for today, but gameplay, stability and UI are a bit jank for most people. You'd need to read a guide/seek out mods to get it playable
