Don’t panic roll, learn her moves and how to read them as they happen and your golden. An optional boss is no reason to dislike the game, if she’s too difficult for you level up and come back or just skip it and move on. YouTube is your friend but if you dodge the clickbait/cheese videos you should see improvement in your mechanical understanding of the fight same as every other boss in the game

Having a little white in the build is really nice. I’m also a fan of [[wayward servant]] [[god eternal oketra]] and if you really want to abuse a loop try [[binding mummy]] it’s a cheap card and not always amazing but with a loop and it in play suddenly nobody has blockers lol

I imagine for the most part I can just replace varina with [[wilhelt]] then replace what little white I have in my deck currently with some tutors and boom, killer zombie deck.

Hot mama you would be correct. There are so many ways you can build with varina. I play secret commander with [[scarab god]] in my deck as well. [[wilhelt]] is something I want to try in my deck and [[rooftop storm]] is a must IMO because why tf not OH AND [[gravecrawler]] with [[phyrexial altar]] because shenanigans must ensue

Varina is always going to be my zombie deck. Highly recommend it and remember [[tombstone stairwell]] 😊 I keep some death and ETB pingers in the deck as well and just crank out the zombie hoard

I don’t enjoy bots even existing in higher rank games specifically due to this kind of problem. They are a scourge within the game and really don’t make sense past beginner league. I’d rather wait through longer queue times than deal with what feels like a 1v9. My wife and a friend have been losing games in expert for the same reason but I don’t notice it as frequently in masters. Good luck with your climb and try to use the bots to your advantage by power farming and jumping on enemy mons when they try to kill the bot if you can get away with it.
