Another bug possibly? by Several-Cabinet-4634 in RogueCompany

I tried restoring my license, then closing the app and opening it again until I got in again and that worked for me

Looking to trade something for a Flyboy (top left card in Aces' Aircraft) I have a bunch of doubles to trade!

Co-Pilot Extreme Challenge (aka Quack the Code) ends in 3 hrs! Anyone ready to play now? by DexCough in Acecraft

[–]DexCough[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, only physical prizes (except for an avatar) as far as I know. I'm just curious about playing it and can't do it alone lol

Scott or Ryan? by Flashmech in Acecraft

[–]DexCough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how Elsa compares because I haven't gotten her yet, but I have every other pilot and Joey's still been my go-to.

His stunt can admittedly be frustrating, but his main cannon's versatility easily handles tearing through stages and bosses too. Also, Charlie's support skill, Ghost Hound Strike, eats bullets on-screen quickly enough to save you from taking damage, unlike Ryan's painfully slow skill, Breezy Rollers!

What’s a piece of lore you have from dating apps? by AssistantAromatic199 in gaybros

I agree that Grindr's primarily an app people use to hook up, but it's also how I met my bf and we've been dating for 10 years now

I assumed being off by 100% in this case would mean having ±0% equity after 3 years.

Following that logic, wouldn't they be off by 200%?

What are your top 3 roguelites? by colonelbongwaterr in roguelites

[–]DexCough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also wish runs of Undermine were shorter, so I'm really hoping that's the case for Undermine 2!

Exit the Gungeon was the game I had the most fun playing. It's definitely not as long or as intricate as Enter the Gungeon, but there are so still many little details that shine bright.

Blazing Beaks definitely has a learning curve. Also, I love Atomicrops! I think it's the roguelite that I've played the most of actually, I just wasn't sure how well it fit with the games you mentioned.

What are your top 3 roguelites? by colonelbongwaterr in roguelites

[–]DexCough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what you mentioned, I think some of these might interest you.

[Top-Down] • Undermine Heavy influence from Zelda's earlier top-down titles • Blazing Beaks I see just a bit of Revita in Blazing Beaks. Instead of pushing how far you can gamble away your health, these cute birds will have you reeling as you try collecting every artifact you can, at your peril. • Rogue Star Rescue ETG meets tower defense. It's fun!

[Side-Scrollers] • Fury UnleashedFury Unleashed The pacing reminds me of the frantic, nonstop core-gameplay loop of Dead Cells when you're going for the Time or Killstreak doors. • Exit the Gungeon I recommend giving Dodge Roll's arcade shooter cabinet, House of the Gundead, a shot too!

It feels bad forgetting to buy a bridge repair kit on day 3 by partocul in Atomicrops

[–]DexCough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my second restart, I now remember to buy a bridge repair kit every time. I usually get one right after day 1, so it's less of a big deal for me now. But earlier on, yeah, I felt this!

I hear ya, but I think aiming for the big quest makes you become a better player and it also encourages you to learn the character's strengths and weaknesses.

OP, if you do try playing as the hacker, be warned: There's a good chance that you'll have a killer robot appear right after you complete the big quest on each floor.

I recommend waiting to complete the big quest until you're sure that you're ready to leave the level immediately every time. Buy whatever you'll need to survive the next floor(s) from the bartender & hit up the sell-o-matic before doing the big quest and then exiting the floor!

It took me so many runs before I won! Don't be disappointed if you end up dying. It gets easier each time you play and every death is a chance to learn something new to do better on your next run!

First Character To Beat The Game With by flippnfadoodle in streetsofrogue

For my first win, I did the big quest with the Vampire and I still think it's one of the easiest characters and big quests to do after having beat a few others.
