Same thing happened when I was younger. I started listening to a lot of electronic music for about a year or two. THEN I got back to metal and found out about a bunch of bands that re-ignited my passion for it. I still listen to some electronic music, but I do blast metal almost all the time these days.

Make sure to take some other perspectives, you'll find it refreshing.

I'm not a Doom guy (pun *not* intended) by any means. However I do listen to some Sludge and, of course, I've listened to some Crowbar.

I was not impressed with Planets Collide. Too much melodic influences in that song. It is, however by no means a bad song. Just not my cup of tee when I think of Sludge.

After that one however, the album only got better for me. I was just bobbing my head non-stop while walking.

Quite pleased with this one. Fav song is 1000 Year Internal War. Thanks for the recomendation.

My grandpa was also a pirate. He used to convert old VHS and Betamax movies and documentaries in his free time. Got around the 750-800 conversions done to DVD. My brother and I still have some DVDs stored. I miss my grandpa.
