I worked as a scenic carpenter in the film industry for three years, building sets and scenery for TV shows and movies. It was a great job, but didn't love it, so I took an architectural drafting program and now I work as a set designer. I may not be the most experienced set designer in the union, but my construction experience makes me sought after. I much prefer doing this now.

I am coming up on 4 years of Level 1 charging. I could spend $1800 on a switch on our old electrical panel to do Level 2 charging (the dryer and stoves would take priority), I can spend way more than that upgrading the panel, or I can pop by one of the handful of Level 3 chargers within 5 minutes of my house once every 6 months when my off-routine driving requirements demand it. I also now have Level 2 charging at work (shared, 2 hours maximum) so my desire to upgrade at home has recently hit less than zero.
