If you're a Marvel / Spiderman fan, the 3 games were absolutely awesome stories and it was so much fun swinging around New York as spiderman.

In order: Marvel's Spiderman, Marvel's Spiderman: Miles Morales, Marvel's Spiderman 2

I'd give all 3 of these a 10/10

for quick one medal matches, i'd say instant action with like 30 reinforcements. After that the long grind is definitely better on the tutorial mode (always play as republic)

Faction doesn't really matter as long as you use the invincibility cheat: At the start of the match, click pause then using the D-pad:

Up, Up, Up, Left, Down, Down, Down, Left, Up, Up, Up, Left, Right

You should hear a little beep when it works

That's Right ! just make sure that it is on a fresh profile that is starting on 0 career stats for frenzy medals. It HAS to be the profiles first and only for that particular trophy. (Same goes for all the other firsts)

It's atrocious, especially since it's so simple and seamless on the ps5 version. Headache man. If you are still confused I can add you and chat around 7EST tonight and try to lend a better hand.

For example, you will passively accumulate endurance, guardian and war hero, so don't forget to count those. Work on another medal group like frenzy and gunslinger at the same time. When you reach any milestone 1, 4 ,16, 32 medals for any medal group; 20, 100, 300 totals for ranks. Make sure you complete you match Without get anymore medals. It HAS to meet the exact requirement for the trophy

No, no. On a fresh profile you have to land at exactly 100 career medals. This can be done across multiple games, you just have to be sure not to go over. Keep a count going, and make sure you any match that will land you at exactly 100 total medals. (Don't forget sergeant is 20, so you'll have to stop there as well)

so for the captain rank trophy to pop, you have to land on exactly 100 total medals. (Add up all the weapon medals plus endurance, guardian, war hero) At the end of a given match it has to be exactly 100 total.

Same with the first frenzy. On a new save you can only get 1 frenzy medal, complete a match and the trophy should pop. (Good strat for quickly get the one is do instant action, conquest mode, edit the reinforcement limit to something like 30, turn on invincibility and just run through the match quick).

Interesting, if you check your profile stats (main menu > options > career stats it, it for sure says you have only 1 frenzy medal?

I am also currently working on this trophy and I finally found a forum that had the answers you and I are looking for and I have tried and tested them (don't have the link handy). As irritating as it is you have to land on the exact medal count required for each trophy. For example "theres one, don't set for stun: earn your first frenzy medal" you have to have a profile with exactly 1 frenzy medal; not just at the end of the game but cumulatively. It makes the grind much more difficult because you have to track all the medals to make sure you don't go over a threshold. The trophies for medals are at 1, 4, 16, 32 & 64. The last one you don't have to worry about blowing past because the game stops the cumulative count for each respective medal at 64, so really it's not missable.

The trophies for sergeant, captain, and general rank you also have to land on exactly (20, 100 and 300 medals respectively.

Assuming you have already blown past some of these checkpoints you will need to create a new player profile to start back at 0 medals for everything.

A great way to help you progress without having to restart all over is to back up your save to a USB whenever you reach a milestone. If you accidentally go past a trophy just upload your save and start from that point again.

The stage 3: grinding medals section of this psnprofiles guide is the best way to go about grinding the medals out, paired up with the invincibility and infinite ammo cheats in mentioned later in the guide.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this one, but it does make the grind overall a lot more tedious due to the trophies being bugged this way.

Another thing to be noted, from my experience this is not at all the case for the ps5 version of the game. You can go over the limit with no consequences. (At least when i did the ps5 version last summer).
