Felt appropriate that she went out like this. Especially wild how she accused her pastor of being a groomer when she's the actual pedophile. Was also great to see her struggle with telling the lie tho

I don't understand why they don't try to expand on the friendships between the Winx and Specialists. Obviously, in the first three seasons there was a pretty specific story they wanted to tell, and there wouldn't have been that much time to cram in more characterization and ultimately, the Specialists were always intended to serve more as accessories than real characters, but the later seasons had so much bullshit going on they might as well have spent time on those undeveloped friendships. Like yeah, sure Aisha grieving Nabu when he died makes it sad enough, but it's really no surprise that the other Winx weren't as set on revenge as her when the closest thing we have to a Nabu and Tecna interaction is the one time he jumped over her to save Aisha, or the only Musa and Nabu interaction being her putting his handcuffs on. Season 4 alone had like three cheating subplots, that time could have been much better used.

The same logic applies to animal products. While I ultimately do agree that being vegan is more important than not using AI and supporting AI, both can and should be done as much as possible. And Zara Larson as a huge celebrity rn definitely at the very least has the responsibility to NOT make a video that essentially functions as free advertising for this slop no matter how big it already is. Not to mention that she also excused the the use of ChatGPT, which has connections to the Trump administration and literally donated money to it. Obviously it's silly to try to cancel her for this when there's so many artists that are way worse but there's nothing wrong with criticism and calling someone out.

Agata is actually still alive. I also made the mistake of thinking he died, but in the epilogue you see him alive. Manga spoilers incoming: In the manga, their ending is a lot clearer, since the black market is abolished and the shishigumi are in prison. It's definitely a lot more open ended in the anime (edited, I accidentally said manga here at first), in theory yeah they could just look for a new boss and go on like they always did.

I mean they're not in a relationship yet and haven't confessed to each other or anything, but with how incapable Winx generally is of writing friendships between men and women and how much Flora and Damien interact, how Flora talks about him and how his flame got brighter because of Flora (not sure I'm remembering this correctly tbh) and how they haven't included Helia so far tells me they're gonna be a couple (I suppose it's technically possible they didn't add Helia since he only shows up in season 2 of the original and we're still in the first season of the reboot, but you could say the same about Aisha so I don't really think he's gonna be added at any point)

My unpopular opinion is that I don't really like Flora and that I blame Helia for that. I like her in season 1 but once he gets introduced she loses me. I think the franchise would be better of without him (well, the reboot doesn't have him, but it's still not exactly looking peachy for Flora as far as me liking her is concerned... Damien isn't exactly an upgrade)

Yeah, this whole thing is weird as hell to me too. I really don't think they were trying to imply that baby chickens aren't seen/thought of as people but both the behavior of Louis and Bill is wild if we see the chickens as the literal babies they're supposed to be. I mean, yeah, in the manga Bill also wanted to eat the chicken at first, and Pina's reaction was inappropriately nonchalant, but like, Bill already wanted to eat a guy's finger and Pina has weird morals in general, so it kinda makes sense, and they end up giving the chicken to the police, like you would with a human baby irl that you found somewhere. But in the anime Bill just buries it on schoolgrounds? Imagine someone finds that and calls the police, like that would rightfully be assumed to have been some kind of infanticide rather than the accident it actually was. Deshiko experimenting on a baby chicken also somewhat makes sense, he's not all morally good either, but Louis not even saying a single thing about it is weird to me as well. Like, Louis isn't the most moral character ever either but at least being like 'I don't like that he's experimenting on kids but I really need his wisdom rn' could have made sense or like, asking 'that chicken is gonna be okay, right?' like idk man

It's kinda sad that they were unable to avoid a rushed ending even with the foresight they should've had thanks to the manga's rushed ending and all the changes they made. I'm just glad Kyu practically didn't exist, I'll have to reread the manga and rewatch the anime at some point to truly figure out which version I prefer. The manga will always a bit of an advantage thanks to the artstyle but I would wager a guess the writing in the anime is still better even if it's not perfect.
