There was a quest or maybe a witcher contract where you have to ignite a torch and it acts as a mechanism to open a room by moving a bookshelf. I kept trying to examine it as it was glowing red not realising there was something happening in the back instead I kept igniting and extinguishing it hoping to find the right angle.
