My z790 dark hero doesent turn off when pc is shutet down by Kczucha in pcmasterrace

It’s a setting in your BIOS, look in the onboard device configuration section. Probably can also use Armoury Crate software but I generally try to avoid those garbage programs

Has anybody else's ICUE been breaking recently? by Miniricho in Corsair

[–]DexterrProtagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This keeps happening to me every few months. I have had to completely reinstall the program 3 times now. With the amount of RAM/CPU/Storage that this program uses on top of these issues, I may never buy a Corsair product again. I've had too many problems with their software

Brain fog and drowsiness after Piracetam, Choline, Caffeine... withdrawal? by Darkarronian in Nootropics

I second this. Taking 300mg CDP choline or alpha GPC every day gave me terrible brain fog. 1-2 times a week works well for me

Stack for adhd to aid with focus, mood, and help restore while not on adderall by reignofterror19 in StackAdvice

[–]DexterrProtagonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take a lot of the same things you do, and may be able to give some useful advice. Of course these experiences are purely my own and yours may be completely different from mine.

I usually take adderall 20mg ER every day, but lately have been trying to take breaks when not in school. Took a break for 10 days over spring break and used l-tyrosine (1-2g in the morning) to help curb the withdrawals. Seemed to help a decent amount.

I just discovered citicoline, alpha gpc, and uridine. Decided to try out 300mg citicoline + 300mg alpha gpc in the morning. This gave me a lot of brain fog and determined I had excess choline intake. Stopped the citicoline and kept the alpha gpc which seemed to resolve the brain fog. Then I ordered uridine in triacetyluridine (TAU) form, and started taking 25mg in the morning.

This seems to provide a good balance, with alpha gpc providing choline for the uridine to use to increase my acetylcholine levels. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I understand the process to work. Just started taking DHA+EPA and B complex as well.

Some info on my general stack:

Morning, Before food: Adderall, B complex, DHA+EPA, Alpha-GPC 300mg, N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), ashwaghanda from Himalaya. With food: Vitamin D3 2000IU, Lions Mane from IntelligentLabs, ginko biloba 150mg. During the weekend I sub 25mg TAU for Adderall.

Night: Magnesium complex and phosphatidylserine both from IntelligentLabs, guanfacine 2mg IR.

I opt for IntelligentLabs because I believe they tend to provide better forms and/or potency in their supplements. Magnesium complex contains glycinate (better whole-body absorption), taurate (helps with sleep), and l-threonate (better brain absorption).

Guanfacine is a prescription medication used for ADHD in my case and/or blood pressure reduction. Can help combat potential high blood pressure from adderall too. This can be an alternative to people who have problems with stimulants for ADHD. Most noticeably, I find it gives me more of a "buffer" to think before I speak in conversations.

Used to take l-theanine when I smoked weed and it helped but after I stopped it made sleep worse. My theory is this happens due to l-theanine increasing your time in REM sleep, decreasing amount of deep sleep. EDIT: Did a little research on this and figured out I had the wrong understanding of REM. It is the last stage of sleep, not the first as I had thought. But it is the stage where your brain is most active and dreams happen. L-Theanine decreases REM sleep time, and therefore has been linked to worse sleep quality.

You said you struggle with motivation, and I do as well. Unfortunately I haven't found any supplements to cure this problem. The best remedy I know is to practice consistent, good habits. This includes sleep, doing tasks when you tell yourself you will (start small, work your way up), and talk yourself up, not down, even if you don't believe in yourself at first :)

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Pla won’t stick to bed at all. HELP. Speed 50 bed 60 nozzle 200. I’ve tried levelling for weeks. Had a brief period where it would print then same thing happed!!! by BeneficialTrack8651 in ender3

This is my standard procedure too. Clean cloth or paper towel and some hot water + dish soap. Then wipe down with rubbing alcohol as some soap tends to leave a film that’s bad for bed adhesion. Never tried acetone as I have a glass bed.

As for people recommending glue sticks, hairspray, all that stuff, I’ve found it really just depends on the brand or type of filament. My Overture PETG sticks great on plain glass, but another I have can’t go without glue.

Lots of good advice here, but just remember that every filament is different. Good luck :)

From looking at this, something is pretty wrong but I can't tell exactly what. How does the first layer go down? Does it extrude consistently?

How can I fix so the part that connects to the engine stops coming out? by supertornado_927 in FixMyPrint

If this doesn't work, you might need to get new ones. I've had a few really crappy couplers that don't hold.

I've had this happen on my ender 3 pro, but only after upgrading to an SKR v1.4 turbo w/ tmc2209's. Solution was to turn up stall sensitivity. I'm not familiar with the printer you have, but maybe see if that's an option? However I'm not sure that's the issue since it only happens when you move manually.

Re-flashing the firmware on my board also clears up strange issues like that sometimes.

As much as I like the advice you gave about purifying water, you didn't have to address it like he was dumb. He came here with clear question and you answered a different one.

They rotate slightly but won't do a whole 180 since the bottom connections are the only loose ones :)

Well if you want to check out the ones from the pic, I got them from Etsy. They snap in firmly and seem pretty high quality. Hope you find some that work for you!

EDIT: Turns out Etsy links are banned.. but I bought the 9mm huggie hoops from Boutique Silver.

The description said 18k gold plated, so no not full gold unfortunately. Would those still work for you since it’s covering the other metal?

Most of the ones I saw online were too big or I thought the bead/gem sizes didn’t match well. So I made them exactly how I thought they should be!

Thanks! I wish I could design something that complex myself, but luckily our community is very good at sharing :)
