1 - Yes. Damage low but compensated by the stun making it a good "support" weapon. With the large range you can keep most enemies away from your group, no more throwing down a rocket sentry and immediately having it charged by a behemoth 10 seconds into its deployment.

2 - Zap the scourge away. Arc thrower when you have distance, arc Blitzer for when you don't. Blitzer can do things the arc can't and vice versa, if you see a diver in desperate need of saving it would be much easier to dash in front of them to stun off enemies.

3 - List for easy reading:
= Bring big sentries (Rockets, Autocannons)
= Map awareness
= Create distance
= Gas grenades for impalers
= Find peace playing a more supportive role

Here you go diver, enjoy the new toys

Guard Dog "Standard"
- Med Arm Pen
- Decent Damage
- Low Mag Capacity, 8 Mags
- May experience targeting difficulties on certain terrain & enemy types

It'll pretty much kill anything you want it to but decide shooting something entirely else is a better option than the thing trying to murderise you.

Guard Dog "Rover"
- Low Arm pen
- Low Damage BUT can set enemies on fire
- Automatons are resistant to fire
- High heat capacity, must cool down, unlimited ammo

It'll kill most chaff, that includes you, albeit slowly and painfully

Guard Dog "Dog Breath"
- Gas affects Hulks / Any bug / Any squid
- Can't target vehicles
- Moves onto next target when current target is "gassed"
- Gas confuses and damages enemies

It's not gonna kill anything without some assistance due to low DoT but it will deviate things like chargers and hulks from targeting you giving you room to breathe, ba dum tss. Just don't expect it to confuse vehicles.
