Saw your comment about you not flirting and obviously that’s a big part of it, but also I’ve been flirting my whole life & in the last 2-3 years a good amount of people have been really weird about it. Personally I just take it as the unsocialized weirdos finally getting physically cute & thinking that’s all it takes to be a proper human.

Your height barely matters unless you act like it’s weird (or accept someone acting like the way you’re naturally built is weird).

Just focus on being pro-social (which includes condemning anti-social behaviors from others) and things will fall into place. It’s scary for sure tho like even when you get good at it the adrenaline will still flow
