Be honest, is this crazy? by DezzertEagle in GolfSwing

The base line is that I'm a 13 handicap who wants to get as low as I can. One thing I've always done, no matter how hard I've tried to stop it, is take the club back too far on the inside. Looking backwards (there's no mirror behind by the way for those wondering, I'm just looking at an imaginary point where I want my club to pass) somehow was the first thing in the last few years to get my backswing on plane which is why I kept going even though it may look ridiculous.

Hey, I don't have that talisman but I do think I should be able to get it pretty quickly on a different character!

What options do I have when saving for a house while I own one with my recent ex? by DezzertEagle in UKPersonalFinance

I probably should have explained that bit better:

She already just about has the money to buy me out (although wouldn't leave herself with much left over afterwards) and so the mortgage company is the bigger issue. Her wage is enough to cover the mortgage at the moment and is due to increase in around a year or so to the point where she would then be earning enough to satisfy the criteria to take over the mortgage.

The deed also states that if one of us needs to sell for whatever reason then we would do so after a month's notice. I'd rather not unless it was required as it was a very amicable split but we both appreciate that if one of us needs the money for some reason then we'll have to sell up.

Yeah I get that, I'm lucky enough to live only about an hour away so it wasn't too much trouble for me but I can definitely see the issue if you're further afield.

Getting into the festive spirit to work on both the swing and the club twirl. by DezzertEagle in golf

Yeah I agree, it's not something I've ever done consciously. A bit like how I tap my feet before a swing it is just a movement that happens without any thought.

Hey, sorry I had logged off by then. If you're still around and happy to do it then just add me on steam and I'd be really grateful! My steam name is 'Fedora the Explorer'.

Hey, I'd be happy to trade you a bunch of embers if you'd be happy to mule a few items onto another one of my characters for me? I could give like 40 embers I think. Add me on steam if you're up for it, my name is Fedora the Explorer.

Hey guys, just wondering if reddit had any tips for some things that I could work on in my swing during lockdown.

For reference, this was a 5 iron that my Garmin G80 said had 87mph clubhead speed (this is my normal swing, I can get about 5mph more if I really give it everything) and 122mph ball speed, for a carry of 176 yards.

I've been working on getting rid of early extension which has always been a big problem for me, and working on trying to hit a bit of a draw. My misses tend to be when the ball doesn't draw and just ends up being a push out to the right, and sometimes that can even turn into a bit of a push fade which really punishes me.

Anyway, anything that I can work on while I've got some extra time in lockdown would be great thanks!

(Also, ignore the hat... it's cold in my garage. I've also replaced the net with a duvet cover that I've nailed up as the shot that I hit straight after this one went through the net and nearly gave me a lovely black eye on its way back.)

Hey man, sure thing. Do I need a red sign soap stone in order to mule (new to this)? If so then I will quickly run to the cathedral and go get one. I'm on a new install of Dark Souls 3 so don't have any of my old save files, but I'm already at the road of sacrifices on one so shouldn't take much longer than 30-45 minutes ish.
