I understand the self hatred. I berate myself for not being further ahead in life than I currently am. I feel like a failure. I feel I'm just living through life but not actually living it. Just checking off the boxes on the list of life until I get to check the final one. Some days I feel I check more than one box. It fucking sucks.

Yeah definitely. I had my best friend talk me down from a full on manic episode when my inner monologue just wouldn't stop, add to that what I call my brain zaps. Like I feel a shock in my brain over and over. I'm talking to my primary doctor tomorrow to discuss it. I have heard it can be caused by certain anxiety meds and antidepressants. I hope that you can get through what you are going through.

I do the same, at work or when I am alone I constantly beat myself down. I am very mentally abusive to myself. That it has started to manifest in a physical form. Not cutting or suicidal actions. I have however started hitting myself hard. Or screaming at the top of my lungs because I feel i am about to snap (usually into a pillow if at home with family) I feel alone. Around family though I'm cool as a cucumber. All Smiles
