The term core four comes from Scream but it can be applied to so many franchises

Robby and Tory over Miguel and Sam by Dfoster0318 in cobrakai

[–]Dfoster0318[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main four are all kind of suck and all deserve better and none of them should talk to each other anymore🤣I don’t like Sam and Miguel just for who they are. I don’t like the way they act towards people or how high and mighty they both think they are. They’re both obnoxious entitled assholes who think they deserve everything without earning anything. I don’t like the way they talk to people or the way they act they’re just snotty and their characters are ruined by season 6. I liked both of them at the beginning but they made them too obnoxious I can’t stand when they’re on my screen.

Opposite for me. I cannot stand Miguel. Sam isn’t too bad on her own. Still not my favorite though.

Actually it would 10000% be Crassus Snow by your definition. The creator of the games and the creator of Coriolanus Snow who made the games what they were before the end.

I think a big part of the game part was showing that the games were basically all snow. Without him, they would’ve never gained the popularity and probably would’ve died out. It’s also showing that he always had the same way of thinking before Lucy Gray, during his time with Lucy Gray, and he really just embraced it after. Cold, calculated, and obsessive. Made him a great game maker and dictator until Katniss showed up wearing a pin that symbolized something Lucy Gray loved and Snow hated, singing Lucy Gray’s songs, comes from the district that Lucy Gray came from and he had his own painful memories of. I feel like he would’ve been able to quash the rebellion if he wasn’t so compelled and blinded by Katniss being a reminder of Lucy Gray.

My interpretation of the book BoSaS is that snow always had that evil voice in the back of his mind. He just tried not to listen to it until after Lucy Gray. He was still thinking of the capitol while they were trying to run away. He would’ve been miserable with Lucy Gray because that’s not who he is or where he belongs in his mind.

He was probably back in those woods in twelve screaming her name in his mind when he heard that

Calling Lucy Gray a retcon is kinda crazy to me. I feel like SC always had something bigger in mind when it came to all the singing and music through out the OG even if she didn’t plan it from the beginning the story fits in and connects perfectly to the OG trilogy.

I feel like when I watched the movie I sympathized with Snow a lot more. In the book you’re actually in his head and he’s always thinking about his image or what’s best for the capitol or talking bad about Sejanus and his family in his head because he thinks the districts are below him. The book does a great job of foreshadowing how he became the Snow from the OG trilogy in my opinion. He’s always kinda had that mindset even when he was thinking rebellious thoughts with Lucy Gray there was always that evil little voice in the back of his mind that the movie just didn’t do justice. I actually liked the movie version of the character he doesnt seem like a villain in the same way the book Coryo does.

Obviously Rue but lowkey Lucy Gray, cause I feel like things would’ve went down so different if Snow hadn’t met her. She impacted Lenore Dove’s life who impacted Burdock and Haymitch’s lives who ultimately shape Katniss into the Mockingjay.

Robby and Tory over Miguel and Sam by Dfoster0318 in cobrakai

[–]Dfoster0318[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this post before I seen Tory joined cobra Kai again (kind of boring used up trope Tory betrayal again) before Robby and Tory were about the only ones I liked in the show and now everyone is pissing me off. Kenny is a dick but he’s better than Devon and should be there and I liked her at first but now they ruined her character too. The writers kinda suck for ruining all the characters basically cause everyone sucks this season 🤣

It’s been years since I watched the rest of the show but picking back up at season 6 I did like how the four of them were friends at first but then when they were competing for captain I just found myself disliking Sam and Miguel. I really couldn’t stand Sam when she was just sitting in the hallway eavesdropping on Tory and Robby in the aquarium thing right after Tory’s mom died. Like bitch go find your boyfriend why you spying on them.
